WooCommerce Tax Control Plugin, setup custom tax class for each category.

WTC is product category based extension tax class for WooCommerce. The plugin allows to define tax class on the product category. It allows the user to add tax classes based on product category.

Prerequisite

Once you've downloaded the installation file on CodeCanyon, Extract it and locate a file called woocommerce-tax-control.zip. You can install the plugin by two installation methods.

Requirements:

To use WooCommerce Tax Control WP Plugin, you must be running WordPress 4.0 or higher. We have tested it with Mac, Windows and Linux. Its feasibility has been tested on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer 10+ as well.

Downloading:

Download the woocommerce-tax-control.zip file from CodeCanyon and unzip it. In this zip file you have everything you need:

The main plugin zip file (woocommerce-tax-control.zip) you need to upload to your WordPress in order to install WooCommerce Tax Control. In this zip file, you will find the plugin with assets itself.

How To Install

Via FTP

Installing WooCommerce Tax Control Plugin is as simple as installing any other WordPress Plugin.

  • Upload the ‘WooCommerce Tax Control’ folder to your WordPress plugin directory ( /static/ext/ )
  • Activate the plugin via your WordPress admin panel
  • A new options tab with the name ‘WooCommerce‘ and go to setting menu which is available in WordPress admin where, you can configure and create your custom tax class!
Via WordPress Administration

This is probably the simplest way for most users. Here are the steps you need to take

  • Login to WordPress Admin
  • In your WordPress Administration go to: Plugins > Add New > Upload
  • Upload the .zip file of the plugin that you downloaded from CodeCanyon.
  • Active the plugin.

Click on below "Browse" button and browse your "woocommerce-tax-control.zip" which is get from http://codecanyon.net/

Click on "Install Now" button and install "woocommerce-tax-control" plugin in WordPress.

After Installed plugin click on plugin tab and here you can see the list of plugin which is installed in your theme.

Click on "Active" Link for active "Woocommerce Tax Control" plugin.

After Active plugin you can click on "Woocommerce" menu in your wordpress navigation bar.

Click On "Tax" button for add custom tax class.

How To Add Custom Tax Class ?

Click on "Category Tax rates" link for add new tax

After add custom tax click on Product menu for re-direct on product page

After click on "Update Button" open product page where you applied added custom tax for category

Open your product detail page in browser add product quantity with desire category and click on "Cart" button

After click on that button you can see checkout page where can applied 15% custom tax in cart total section
